Dear Pastor:

I created the blog, Pelton On Preaching, for the purpose of recording brief observations on how a particular preaching portion might be preached in church.  I am especially interested in showing how hermeneutics affects the development of a sermon.  This involves showing how theology can be found in a preaching portion, how that theology is relevant for the Church, and how that theology needs to be Christ-centered. 

I trust that some of my observations are helpful to you in your own quest to represent God well in your pulpit.
